I find myself making about an hour’s drive twice a month to see a bunch of liars in Willow Grove, PA. These are not the liars you may be accustomed to. Gone are the liars of the pinstripe suit variety. These are not sly hucksters who are trying to get at your credit card information. They are not even the seductive, good-looking barflies trying to get your digits – though I suppose that last one is subjective depending on which liar you ask.
Authors are an entirely different breed of liars.
These liars are of the helpful sort. As an aspiring liar myself, I seek out the company, advice and experience of those who have lied before me. This has been happening for about a year and a half now. And I have to say, I’ glad I have been.
The Liars Club is composed of authors from the southeastern PA region, and they meet in Willow Grove once per month to talk to anyone who will listen. You’ll find their link to the right-hand side here, and I recommend other liars to come and join in on some interesting conversations and to meet others who share the writing bug.
